Strathaven Ales

Craigmill Brewery, which sits on the river Avon to the south east of Strathaven, was converted from the remains of a 16^th Century mill as a purpose made facility with a ten barrel brew capacity. Strathaven Ales operates from these premises and distributes its range of ales throughout Scotland and the north of England.

We are delighted to be part of the Galloway Fair and look forward to the opportunity to offer our range of cask conditioned & bottled ales to old friends and new. If you have an interest in cask ales or you are just curious to know just what makes them different to mainstream beers you can find us either in the food hall or the main bar at any time during the event.

We are always pleased to welcome visitors to our brewery and are happy to organise brewery tours and of course sampling in our own tap room. Why not combine your visit with a walk along the riverbank to the Spectacle'e falls which tumble past a viewing platform and have been a favourite Lanarkshire attraction for many generations.
