Springer Rescue for Scotland
Description

Springer Rescue for Scotland is a body that promotes the welfare of Springer Spaniels in Scotland, encourages responsible ownership, and organises re-homing of Springer Spaniels around Scotland and beyond.

We believe that every Springer Spaniel in Scotland should have the chance of a happy, fulfilled life in an appropriate home, and that every person or family that owns a Springer should find this to be a positive experience, and one that enhances their quality of life.

We know every dog is different. While most Springer Spaniels we help re-home are pets, some will be happier and more fulfilled living as working dogs, particularly in rural areas of Scotland.

Springer Rescue for Scotland organises the re-homing and rescuing of Springer spaniels, mainly in Scotland, but also in the rest of the UK and Ireland if that is considered to be in the dog’s best interest.

We take in, foster and assess dogs, transporting them to foster homes if necessary. We assess potential new forever homes, and match the right rescue Springer with the right new home.

We provide all necessary veterinary treatment for the dogs in our care, and will often provide ongoing veterinary support when we re-home elderly or infirm dogs.
