It is a 6 acre hill loch stocked regularly with both Brown and Rainbow trout and has stunning views over the local countryside. There are three boats, however, many fishermen enjoy fishing from the hard bottom shallows but waders are advisable. A daily ticket costs £15 and a three fish limit applies, boats are included in the price. There a various other trout lochs in the area all within 30 minutes drive to offer a varied choice of venue and some exciting sport. Mossroddich is strictly fly fishing only with a 4 rod limit at any one time, a three fish per person limit and Sunday fishing is allowed.
