Scottish Hound Show

The second Scottish Hound Show will be held at the 2009 Galloway Country Fair on Sunday 16th August at 10am. With 15 packs of Foxhounds entering from both North and South of the border, it promises to be double the size of last years inaugural event!
 
The show is split into two sections for Studbook Foxhounds and Hill Hounds, with special prizes being awarded for the best Old English hound to be exhibited in each of the Studbook classes. Judges this year are C M F Scott esq & R Tyacke esq, MFH (Studbook), and E Porter esq, MFH & J Harrison esq (Hill Hound).
 
A parade of hounds in the main ring is also being planned with the chance for children to come in and meet some new friends so be sure to stop off and see us on your way round the showground!
