Drumlanrig Castle and Country Estate is the family seat of the Duke and Duchess of Buccleuch and Queensberry in Dumfries & Galloway, South West Scotland and was recently awarded 5* status.  The Douglas family’s association with Drumlanrig dates back to the 14th Century and the current Castle is a fine example of late 17th Century Renaissance architecture, constructed from the distinctive, local pink sandstone.  Drumlanrig is a thriving country estate providing a wealth of exciting experiences which will keep the family and the sportsman thoroughly entertained.
